Absolutely not! If current election trends are maintained, Gary Johnson will get less than 1% of the popular vote in most states. In South Carolina, that’s not enough to make any real difference. In 2008, a very weak Republican candidate (John McCain) won by 8 percent. If Gary Johnson breaks the 1% barrier this year, an equally weak candidate (Mitt Romney) will still win the state.
The Republican establishment is afraid of men like Ron Paul and Gary Johnson. That’s why they didn’t want Johnson to be on the stage at any of the televised debated. The debates are just extended campaign commercials.
